The Black Robin…

On the brink of extinction in 1980 with only 5 birds remaining and one female named ‘Old Blue’.

The great Don Merton revived the near-extinct Chatham Islands Black Robin and they thrive on the Island of Little Mangere, South East of Chatham Islands it’s population around 300.

This T-shirt and brand pay homage to my community and home's resilience and never-ending strength of my community and home.

A reminder of the light in the dark.
